Background

HIROYA TATSUKI, a young Japanese, passed away in Ghana at the age of 30 in October 2013.  He worked in Ghana, one holiday went surfing and drowned.  Getting CPR by his friends, he was brought to a nearby hospital.  There was neither AED at the hospital nor at the beach hotel where they surfed.

If there existed AED, he might survive.  His mother thought when she visited Ghana after the funeral.

As their hometown Tajimi-city put emphasis on AED and CPR, she understands the importance of them.  She hopes to donate AED to Ghana so as to decrease the risk of sudden death like her son.

She believes that the opportunity to live should be fair for anyone, anywhere in the world to live.

Many people agreed her to launch NPO HIROYA Foundation in 2014.

We donate AED and training kit to Ghana, contribute to improving emergency medical care in Ghana.
